Who we are

FeedCV is operated by Andrei Tănasă, a private individual based in Romania, who is the data controller for the data described here. You can contact us at hello@feedcv.com.

What we collect

• Account: your email address, name (if you sign in with Google) and account creation date.
• CV review: the text extracted from the CV you upload (we don't keep the file itself), any job description or LinkedIn profile export you provide, the report we generate and your quiz progress.
• Payments: a record of what you bought and its status. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach us.
• Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, used to keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

How we use it

• To generate and deliver your CV report.
• To run your account and show your past reports.
• To email you when a report is ready and about your purchases.
• To prevent abuse and keep the service secure.

Your CV is used only to generate your own report. We don't sell your data and we don't use your CV to train AI models.

Legal basis

We process your data to provide the service you asked for (contract), to keep the service secure (legitimate interest) and to meet legal obligations such as keeping payment records.

AI processing

Your CV text is sent to an AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the review. Before sending it, we remove details the analysis doesn't need, such as your email address, phone number and profile links. The provider processes it on our behalf and does not use it to train its models.

How long we keep it

• CV text (and LinkedIn profile export, if provided): deleted automatically after 30 days. The uploaded file itself is never stored.
• Reports and account data: until you delete them or your account.
• Payment records: as long as required by tax law.

Who processes it for us

We use a small number of trusted providers: Google Firebase (account sign-in and database, in the EU), Vercel (website hosting), Anthropic (AI analysis), Lemon Squeezy (payments, acting as merchant of record) and Resend (email delivery). Some of them may process data outside the EU under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. You can delete your data from your account page or by emailing hello@feedcv.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in Romania, ANSPDCP).

Cookies

We only use cookies and local storage that are needed for the site to work, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your light or dark mode choice. We don't use advertising cookies.

Changes

If we make important changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you by email.
